Together Innovations collects two types of information: content you submit to the Project, and technical information such as your IP address for technical and usage statistics purposes. We will not use any technical information to identify you, but our team and other visitors to the site may identify you using the information you share on the postcard. We will not share or sell your data to a third party or vendor, with the exception of the Phillips Academy Student Council and external services listed below. Please continue reading the following and our Terms of Service.
We gather two types of information from you: Postcard Information and Website Usage Information.
The Postcard information is entered by you, on our website. This includes a photograph that you agree you have the copyright to, and a brief message you compose. Optional entry fields include your name, city, a social media link, and tags. This information will be stored in a database for display on the site, and will be accessed later to print the postcards and exhibit them, with the help of Phillips Academy's Student Council. This information is public on the website, as well as eventually on physical display on the Phillips Academy campus.
We collect certain information regarding your use of dearandover.org, such as your IP address and browser type. We use the information we gather from you for systems administration purposes, abuse prevention, and to track usage, and for the other purposes described in this policy. All information is stored on our secure servers. We will not share, sell, rent, swap, or authorize any third party to access web usage information beyond what is stated in this Policy.
This site has reasonable security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
